the CURRY
Its time for me to write a new post, as the previous post was done long back and I have no intention of killing my scintillating blog ;).(that's what I feel about my blog, you might think the other way around). Guys and also gals! thanks for the comments and also for reminding me to write a new post very soon , here I go.
Today, is my cooking turn ( What !! This dude cooks ? Yah , I do cook to eat ). Cooking turn ! What's it ? I stay with 3 of my friends in an apartment, as many desi sailors usually prefer to stay together. It works to be way cheaper than staying individually and I personally feel staying in a group is fun and important, afterall man is a social animal. We four of us take turns to cook our dinner every day. Holidays are meant for fun so exclude Saturday's, Sunday's and also in atleast for one day a week, somebody in our room will be having a exam or some very very important work on their turn, so we don't cook ( I always wonder, why we always have such an important job to do, on the very day of our cooking turn and not in any other day? What a coincidence.. ha :). Hence, there are only 4 days left in a week and I need to cook once in a week. Everybody cooks, what's the big deal about it ?
believe me, everyone in my apartment has a designated curry. (Ramu- sambar, just like educational degrees referred, Dr.Ramu, FRCS-london ). Each will cook the same thing every week, in what they are specialized in , no matter what happens. The other day I was talking to my Mom back in India and I told her that ram is cooking, the very moment she said 'Is it Sambar' , we are that familiar and sick of cooking same thing over and over. Ho! ya this dude is known for cooking excellent chicken dish :D but recently changed to capsicum curry, as the stupid birds are caught with flu. My advice stop eating chicken and the money you saved from it, send to me I will eat mutton and maintain the natural balance of life ;) .
And I started cooking, remember today is my cooking turn for which my roomies die to taste my yummy yummy super curry. I started frying onions, which are making sizzling sounds. Meanwhile I was seriously thinking about a topic for my next post, for which my enthusiastic readers are literally killing themselves to read my new post ( I got this news from intelligent sources. :) Guys! dont kill yourselves, when I am here, why fear, I will do my best to atleast write a decent, understandable blog. trust me). I put the sliced capsicum, tomatoes and the needed ingredients, stirring them slowly, waiting for it to be cooked. After some time, the flavors, aroma, spice pouring out from the dish is amazingly mesmerizing. ( mmm....thats how this dude cooks ;). you have to taste it personally to feel how good it tastes, I just cant wait to eat myself, then I was struck by a golden thought, what if I write about this curry. Finally, I finished cooking and without tasting it, I sacrificed it for writing this wonderful post for you all :) even though I am starving.
By the way! my roomies were already eating, when I enquired about its taste, they were criticizing me :)) it tastes like rotten $&*(#@#$!!~#*)#*(!)_+!#&$* , yaa it tastes SHITTT . thats how I cook and everything mentioned about it is CRAPPP.
P.S.
1)First time readers no offence on me, I usually forward my blog to my friends. And I take full freedom with my friends, thats what friends are for. :)
2)there is no one named Ramu in my room, its for characterizing.
Hmm...The routine you follow at your place seems better than the one we do.. what do you think?
And your build up was real good. I don't think it was a good idea to end it the way you have ended, buy cursing your own cooking. Somehow I think I need to taste it once before I can decide !
Karun .. why no new posts ?
Hehe, what happened to it finally? Must be the flu chicken who especially flew to taste your capsicum.
You art thy's saviour.
